The Sesta System consisting of PEX/Al/PEX pipes and press fittings, originally conceived for plumbing systems, is inherently suitable for the conduction of gaseous fuels, but required additional tests to obtain specific product certifications, such as:

• Resistance test to gas constituents
• Resistance test at operating temperatures 20 °C +70 °C
• Fire resistance test
  
• O-ring test specific to gas pipes
